Botox is 'quick and easy'

Botox and other forms of facial rejuvenation are rising in popularity because they are quick and easy, it has been claimed.

Physician Dr Joel Schlessinger has claimed that many people are seeking minimally-invasive cosmetic surgery on their lunch breaks.

Fraxel Laser Treatment is one such option, he told Action 3 News, as it gives definite results in a very short period of time.

"There are new things like Botox, fillers, new fillers that last quite a long time," he added. "There are new lasers that are kinder and gentler that do the same types of things that the older more aggressive lasers did."

However, Dr Schlessinger, who focuses on dermatology and cosmetic surgery, added that for a more long-lasting result, patients may want to invest in a full operation.

Liposuction may be more expensive, but it will only need to be performed once, he said.
